Just like our wines. What began as a spontaneous solution—rescuing juice to make rosé—has become our guiding principle: play it as it lays. No script. Only honesty, simplicity, and curiosity about where it will take us.

We believe in doing less, but better. Our wines are responsible, shaped by the land they come from, reflecting the raw, diverse landscape of Northern California.

We partner with vineyards farmed organically and regeneratively, using practices such as livestock grazing, compost, biochar, and minimal tillage to replenish what we take from the soil. In the cellar, we follow a laissez-faire approach—letting fermentations unfold naturally. We listen. We observe. We let the wine become.

Our wines are versatile yet original, playful yet considered. Wines that fit seamlessly into a life that is lived a little recklessly but thoughtfully.

My name is Jes. 

My background is in film, where my life was anchored by cities. Like many others, I found my calling in a second career, and my home among the vineyards.

My goal is simple: to make all occasion wines that are responsible. I aim to impart a sensorial experience, where every element has shaped the wine in your glass. Some elements can be controlled, others cannot. My role is to distinguish the two by listening and asking questions along the way, and to bring you wines that are whimsical, versatile, and, most importantly, true to where it came from.
